Occupational Health Nurse
Location: Golborne (WA3)
Part-time (Flexible Hours)
Salary: £20 – £25 per hour Dependent on Experience

Purpose
This Occupational Health Nurse role will play an integral part of the Golborne site supporting employee well-being and management of sickness absence. The Occupational Health Nurse will report into the Head of HR and the job holder will support and advise employees on health related issues.
This opportunity would suit an individual who is a registered nurse and has experience within a manufacturing environment that is looking to gain further knowledge within the industry and play a pivotal role in shaping occupational health & wellbeing in the workplace.
Tasks & responsibilities: Occupational Health Nurse: (Not limited to)
- Deliver and coordinate health surveillance programs in accordance with health and safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., COSHH, Noise, HAVS, etc.)
- Completing fitness to work cases and capability assessments.
- Offer wellbeing support where needed.
- Facilitate return to work assessments and phased returns.
- Physical and mental health assessments.
- Conduct Workplace assessments as and where required.
- Drug & Alcohol testing where required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Monitor employee health trends and recommend interventions as necessary.
- Help to continuously improve service delivery and operations.
Education / Experience:
- Must be a registered Nurse.
- Diploma in Occupational Health Practice is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in occupational health or a related field.
- Must have similar experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of occupational health surveillance programs and relevant regulations.
- Able to analyse and interpret clinical data to inform decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
