Occupational Health Nurse Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)

This Occupational Health Nurse role will play an integral part of the Golborne site supporting employee well-being and management of sickness absence. The Occupational Health Nurse will report into the Head of HR and will support and advise employees on health-related issues.

This opportunity would suit an individual who is a registered nurse with experience within a manufacturing environment, looking to gain further knowledge within the industry and play a pivotal role in shaping occupational health & wellbeing in the workplace. Please note that this role requires an office presence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and coordinating health surveillance programs in accordance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Offering wellbeing support where needed
  • Conducting physical and mental health assessments
  • Performing drug & alcohol testing where required
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Helping to continuously improve service delivery and operations

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Occupational Health Practice is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in occupational health or a related field
  • Strong understanding of occupational health surveillance programs and relevant regulations
  • Able to analyse and interpret clinical data to inform decision-making
