At our Golborne site (5 mins from the J22 or J23 M6) based on the East Lancs Road, we employ over 270 colleagues who produce a number of packaging solutions on a 24/7 basis for major international customers. We now need to strengthen our Transporter Team.
Your profile:
- Responsible for the collection/movement and recording of finished packed products to the automated wrapper.
- Bring all required packing materials used within the Packing Department on shift to the relevant production line.
- Working in a busy packing environment moving finished packed products to an automated wrapper.
- Safe and correct use of equipment including a pedestrian ride on truck / FLT/ Pallet wrapper in a heavy pedestrian area.
- Identifying poor quality in either materials or finished goods.
- Flexibility to undertake new tasks as required.
- Work within housekeeping and 5S guidelines to improve both efficiency and safety.
Experience / Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Personable and excellent communication skills.
- Able to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines within a busy manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience of operating the required machinery.
- Must have Valid FLT Counterbalance license + Experience.
