Around 22,000 colleagues produce quality packaging for foodstuffs, cosmetics and industrial cleaning brands for many blue chip clients across 182 ALPLA sites in 46 countries. At our Golborne site (5 mins from the J22 or J23 M6) based on the East Lancs Road, we employ over 270 colleagues who produce a number of packaging solutions on a 24/7 basis for major international customers. We now need to strengthen our Packing team and have multiple permanent vacancies.
The successful candidates will join an established team of Packing Operatives covering a number of 24/7 machines. You will have previous or current experience working in a very busy manufacturing environment; you will need to be H&S aware and an excellent communicator.
Working as a Packing Team Member:
- Previous packing experience in fast paced manufacturing environment
- Some FMCG industry awareness of housekeeping and hygiene standards
- Good Health and Safety awareness
Your profile - we are interested in applicants who can provide a:
- Reliable, self-motivated, and resourceful approach to work in manufacturing warehouse
- Proactive, methodical, and accurate/safe working methods
- Excellent Communication and team working skills
- Ability to learn fast and safely
Hours of work:
Working on our 12hrs shift system which is based on 2 x 12hrs Days followed by 2 x 12hrs Night shifts with 4 days off.
