Job Purpose: You will work as part of a closely skilled team ensuring all injection tools are maintained to the highest standard. You will be a key team player but will also be able to work under your own initiative, ensuring the highest standards at all times. It is essential that the person has a strong engineering background and the ability to read drawings and use equipment such as lathes and surface grinders.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will carry out the servicing work of injection cap/PET moulding tools and other associated tooling.
- Good bench working skills and the ability to use associated tools.
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings is essential.
- Carry out in-house tooling service checks as specified; to report results on the computer system provided and to highlight any deviations from specification for correction.
- The ability to work on tools in the production environment as and when required as part of the tooling team.
- Work at the highest safety standards at all times.
- The ability to use lifting equipment such as cranes is an advantage but training will be given.
