What you will enjoy doing

As a Quality Inspector you will Working as part of the Quality department in a shift-based role to support delivery of Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across the site which operates 24/7.

  • Attends the shift handover meetings communicating the current situation and status of current open non-conformance (fault notes & isolations) which they have been involved in during the shift
  • Conduct CCP verification checks.
  • Supply and verify the correct defect test pieces to production lines and ensure they are collected back at the end of a production run.
  • Confirm the appropriate specifications and documentation is in place and being completed correctly.
  • Accurately record data in the electronic quality databases system (CAQ) – Where failings are identified escalate to Management for investigation before the end of the shift.
  • Conduct laboratory based analytical testing, as required to support material or colour changes during evenings
  • To carry out diligently those duties as requested by the management in accordance with good Health and Safety and quality and food safety practices.
  • To ensure that laboratory and Quality station housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times.

  • Previous role within a Quality / Compliance / Testing position within a manufacturing environment – ideally with experience of laboratory based analytical testing
  • Highly analytical and exceptional attention to detail
