Looking to start your career in IT? We're looking for an enthusiastic ICT Apprentice to join our team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build valuable technical skills, and work alongside experienced professionals in a global manufacturing business.
We produce innovative packaging systems, bottles, caps and injection-moulded parts for a wide range of industries since 1955. With our more than 30 years of experience in recycling and our own recycling plants, we play our part in ensuring that plastics remain in the materials cycle.
What You'll Do
- Adhere to Alpla's Corporate IT Policies
- Use the ServiceNow Helpdesk
- Provide First-Line Support for the UK IT Department
- Monitor the UK Service Desk
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and escalate faults
- Support Microsoft Windows Client environments
- Deploy, install and configure Windows 11 via SCCM
- Maintain and update Windows operating systems
- Provide hardware support and installation (printers, projectors, etc.)
- Monitor Windows Defender Anti-Virus
Training Outcome
Your earnings can increase over time with an apprenticeship. Successful completion of the apprenticeship may lead to a permanent full-time role, subject to performance and business needs.
