Responsibilities

  • Attends the shift handover meetings communicating the current situation and status of current open non-conformance (fault notes & isolations) which they have been involved in during the shift
  • Supply and verify the correct defect test pieces to production lines and ensure they are collected back at the end of a production run
  • Confirm the appropriate specifications and documentation is in place and being completed correctly
  • Accurately record data in the electronic quality databases system (CAQ) – Where failings are identified escalate to Management for investigation before the end of the shift
  • Conduct laboratory based analytical testing, as required to support material or colour changes during evenings
  • Conduct CCP verification checks
  • To carry out diligently those duties as requested by the management in accordance with good Health and Safety and quality and food safety practices
  • To ensure that laboratory and Quality station housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times
