The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Reporting to the Weekday Model Shop Team leader, this role will play an important part in providing high quality parts to our wind tunnel Model and supporting a range of model shop activities.

The Role

  • Part Processing: Handling components directly from rapid prototyping machines (full training provided).
  • Precision Paint Spraying: Applying high-quality finishes to aero parts with attention to detail.
  • Surface Quality Assurance: Ensuring parts meet visual and tactile standards before delivery to modelmakers.
  • Workshop Support: Assisting with laser part marking, picking, packing, storing parts, and weekly stock takes (training provided).
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to meet tight deadlines and maintain high standards.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhering to all workshop safety protocols and procedures.

The Person

  • A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
  • Strong team ethic and proactive attitude.
  • Experience in paint spraying or workshop environments is a plus, but not essential.
  • Motivated to succeed, calm under pressure, and flexible to meet busy work schedules.
