- Conduct studies and design of experiments to understand coupling across different sub-system domains and identify main performance trade-offs (for example energy management, aero, tyres, suspension, brakes).
- Actively contribute to prove new ideas and simulation methodologies through race or simulator event support activities, working closely with other sections (Simulator, Aero Performance, Tyres, Race Eng).
- Analysis of simulator and race car data to understand main limitations of existing simulation toolset (for example driveability limitations, PU correlation).
Who We Want
We are looking to enhance our talented team with someone who has previous experience, ideally within F1 or another high-level motorsport. You should be educated to a first-class degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline and have a strong technical background on vehicle dynamics and simulation. It would be advantageous if you are proficient in MATLAB/Simulink and Motorsport data analysis software (Atlas, WinTAX, etc.). Additionally, experience in programming with Python would be an advantage. We are seeking a self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail.
