Overview
Composite Technician (Assembly) at Alpine Formula One Team. We currently have four vacancies: one for Days, two for weekday Night shift, and one for Weekend nights.
Composite Technician (Assembly) - The Role
To carry out the precise trimming, assembly, and finishing of composite components to meet high standards of quality, safety, and production efficiency. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Trim composite components using hand tools, air tools, and templates to meet tight tolerances.
- Assemble and finish composite parts using bonding techniques, adhesives, and mechanical fasteners.
- Interpret and follow technical drawings, lay-up schedules, and work instructions.
- Conduct surface preparation, sanding, deburring, and finishing operations.
- Perform visual inspections and report any defects or non-conformances.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area.
