We are seeking an NDT Technician on our dayshift to contribute to our fast‑paced environment by supporting our Quality and Manufacturing areas.
The Role
- You’ll be responsible for inspecting new and in-service components using the correct NDT method for Race team, Race support team and any other projects requiring the use of NDT inspection; meeting the required deadlines and ensuring on‑time delivery to the end user.
- The prompt creation of NDT reports will be required.
- You will need to effectively liaise with designers and engineers regarding non‑conformance, findings during inspection or report review stages, as well as working with management to improve department efficiency and capability.
The Person
- We’re seeking an individual with a strong engineering background, who is able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications that enable appropriate inspection levels, and pick out relevant information to record conformance to specification.
- You should have excellent knowledge of NDT processes (UT, PT, MP, ET, RT) and an NDT Level 2 or 3 Qualification PCN or EN4179 accreditation.
- We want a high performing individual with the ability to remain focused and objective under pressure, and work to strict deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Effective communication and an attention to detail is important, and enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork is highly valued.
