We have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptionally talented Junior Tyre Modelling Engineer to join our Simulation group within the Engineering Office at Enstone. This position will play a crucial role in helping us push for podiums and race wins. Our team is dedicated to engineering excellence, pushing the boundaries of technology and optimising performance to achieve our goals. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a variety of tyre models, including Thermal Mechanical Models, to ensure they accurately reflect real-world tyre performance.
  • Analyse vehicle, simulation, and simulator data to assess tyre model correlation and identify key parameters.
  • Support tyre-specific simulator testing, including test specification, real-time support during sessions, and post-test data analysis and reporting.
  • Work closely with the performance simulation team to optimise tyre integration for chassis performance.

This is a factory-based role at Enstone.

Who We Want

We are looking for someone who is looking to build their career within F1. The ideal candidate will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent within relevant Science or Engineering discipline. It would be beneficial if you have good base understanding of tyre thermo-mechanical models or FE models, as well as being proficient in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++/C#. It is necessary to possess a solid understanding of vehicle dynamics, including suspension kinematics and compliance.
