Overview
Alpine F1 Team have an opportunity to join the team as Junior Buyer – Indirect.
The Role
- Procurement of goods and services to support F1 activities in accordance with Alpine Racing Purchasing Rules.
- Maintain supplier relationships and effectively communicate all required activity to the Procurement Manager.
- Assist in driving value, performance, and operational efficiency in line with contractual KPI\’s and SLA\’s.
- Assist in the develop and implementation of policies, procedures and working practices to continuously improve performance and results of the Indirect Procurement team.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as directed by the Procurement Manager.
The Person
- Knowledge of best-practice Purchasing of goods and services (CIPS qualification preferred but not essential).
- Understanding of Company objectives and the role of the Procurement Department.
- Good negotiator capable of owning and delivering results.
- Confident communicator with an engaging personality, able to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work under time pressure.
