Be a pro-active member of the Commercial Team and assist in administrative duties, as necessary. Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working alongside the Assistant Quantity Surveyor to ensure accurate records are constantly updated; key commercial and contract tasks are conducted in a timely fashion.
Part of a small team responsible for identifying, recording and managing contractual risk and opportunity across Alpine’s Project portfolio to assist in the cash backed profitable growth of the business in sustainable revenue streams.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE (including accountabilities)
- Provide administrative assistance to the members of the commercial team and board, as necessary
- Supporting the management of, and updating payment applications, payment certificates for end client and subcontractors alike
- Recording and maintaining records as required on risk, opportunity, contract document control – Contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Change Management.
- Client queries on applications for payments and maintaining well-ordered systems in place
- Liaising with the finance team to ensure invoices are raised accordingly
- Lead and strive for operational excellence and continual performance improvement through proactive management in order to minimise risk and maximise opportunity
- Assistant with commercial policy and procedures and establish parameters for measuring project performance
- Assist with instilling best commercial practice throughout the organisation
