We have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptionally talented Lead Design Engineer to join our Test & Validation Design group within the Engineering Office at Enstone. This position will play a crucial role in helping us push for podiums and race wins.

The role of our Lead Validation Design Engineers: You will lead the Validation Design team both technically and managerially, taking ownership of the Validation Design and Test engineering ensuring our testing is engineered to the highest standard and the full vehicle is validated prior to launch.
Your Challenge:
- Lead, develop and build a high-performance team in a fast-paced and competitive sport.
- Collaborate closely with all aspects of Engineering and Validation Testing to ensure seamless integration of the test units onto our state-of-the-art test equipment.
- Take full ownership of the design and testing solution that allows accurate validation of our car systems within a controlled environment.
- Use your experience and skills to play a key part in the validation of safe, reliable and performant engineering solutions to run on our F1 car.
- Ensure we remain ahead of the competition by investigating new and burgeoning technologies to keep our testing capabilities state-of-the-art.
Who we want: We are looking to enhance our talented team with someone who has previous experience, ideally within F1 or another high-level motorsport. You should be educated to degree level or equivalent in Engineering and have a solid base knowledge of engineering first principles.
It would be ideal if you had previous CAD experience with Catia V5/3DX, but we will support with training if NX or similar is your expertise. We need someone who is self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision, and has a hands-on approach to deliver high-quality designs to set deadlines. Great collaborative skills and attention to detail are essential.
This role is pivotal within our Engineering leadership. We seek someone committed to mentoring and developing junior engineers, nurturing them to become the next generation of F1 experts.
