Our Commercial function plays a vital role in growing our brand, engaging fans, supporting partners, and delivering world-class experiences across multiple audiences. As a Marketing Student Placement, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within one of several exciting areas, including Communications, Merchandising & Licensing, Graphics, Partnerships and hospitality. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll contribute to projects that help bring the Alpine Formula One Team brand to life around the world.

The Role

As a Marketing Student Placement, you'll become an integral part of our Commercial team, supporting key business activities that drive fan engagement, partner activation, brand development, and commercial growth. We have multiple placement opportunities available across our Communications, Merchandising & Licensing, Graphics, and Partnerships teams. Depending on your placement area, you'll gain exposure to a variety of projects and activities while developing valuable skills in a fast-paced and dynamic Formula One environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns and commercial initiatives
  • Assisting with content creation for internal and external communications
  • Supporting partnership activation activities and sponsor engagement programmes
  • Helping coordinate events, promotions, and fan engagement activities
  • Assisting with merchandising and licensing projects, including product launches and market research
  • Supporting graphic design and creative projects across digital and print platforms
  • Analysing campaign performance and preparing reports and presentations
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support departmental objectives
  • Providing general administrative and project support across the Commercial function

Who We're Looking For

  • Currently studying a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Media, Sports Marketing, Graphic Design, Commercial Management, Event Management, or a related discipline, and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year of university
  • Passionate about marketing, branding, communications, commercial partnerships, or creative design
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Passion for motorsport is desirable but not essential

You must:

  • Have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role
  • Be available to attend onsite for interviews and assessment in early October
