La direction Informatique d'Alpine Racing est à la recherche de son/sa futur/e stagiaire Data Scientist pour une durée de 6 mois pour un début au premier semestre 2026.
L’équipe Data accompagne les métiers de l’ingénierie dans l’amélioration de la précision des modèles et l’intégration de la data science dans le pilotage de la performance véhicule.
Missions
- Hybrid Twin - Modélisation physique & data science (sujet majeur):
- Construire un hybrid twin pour la température des freins, combinant modèles physiques et approches data science.
- Exploiter les données de simulation HPC et les données issues des essais afin de :
- Identifier et quantifier les écarts simulation ↔ essais,
- Réduire la marge d’erreur et améliorer la précision des simulations,
- Transformer le modèle de température frein en modèle intégré.
- Mettre en place le workflow d’entraînement complet :
- Récupération et traitement des données de simulation sur le cluster HPC,
- Apprentissage et validation du modèle,
- Intégration dans le système de contrôle moteur (ECU) pour un usage opérationnel par les ingénieurs.
- LoRA - Fine-tuning de modèles de langage (sujet annexe):
- Mettre en place un workflow de fine-tuning par LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) sur l’infrastructure HPC.
- Expérimenter l’adaptation d’un modèle open-source (Mistral 7B par ex.) pour personnaliser l’avatar “Reno” dans un contexte racing (codes Alpine).
- Valoriser la démarche comme projet exploratoire en IA générative.
Profil:
- Étudiant(e) en dernière année d’école d’ingénieur ou master spécialisé (data science, IA, mathématiques appliquées).
- Solides bases en machine learning et traitement des données (Python, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Intérêt pour la modélisation physique et les systèmes complexes.
- Connaissance souhaitée des LLM et techniques de fine-tuning (LoRA, transformers).
- Notions d’HPC (Linux, batch jobs, parallélisation) et Git.
- Autonomie, rigueur et curiosité dans un environnement de haute performance.
