Job Description: Composite Technician (Assembly)
At Alpine Formula One Team, we have an opportunity to join our well-established Composites department as a Composite Technician – Assembly. We currently have four vacancies, one vacancy for Days, two vacancies for weekday Night shift, and another vacancy for Weekend nights.
Responsibilities
- Trim composite components using hand tools, air tools, and templates to meet tight tolerances.
- Assemble and finish composite parts using bonding techniques, adhesives, and mechanical fasteners.
- Interpret and follow technical drawings, lay-up schedules, and work instructions.
- Conduct surface preparation, sanding, deburring, and finishing operations.
- Perform visual inspections and report any defects or non-conformances.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Proven experience in a similar composites trim and assembly role.
- High level of skill in using hand and power tools for precision work.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
