Alpine Formula One Team have an opportunity to join the team as a CNC Machinist on our Nightshift with the Composites team based in Enstone.
The Role
Working as part of the Composite Team, candidates will be required to work on a varied range of machines which machine epoxy block patterns and carbon fibre components. They will be expected to understand engineering drawings, symbols and geometric tolerance, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- To set and operate 3 and 5 axis machine tools and edit programs
- To be able to read and understand engineering drawings and use various measuring equipment
- To produce components to tight timescales and tolerances
- To be able to set priorities and work under pressure
The Person
The successful candidate will have an engineering background and be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and models. Knowledge of Heidenhain controls would also be desirable. They will be PC literate and comfortable using MS Office products; Dynamics 365 knowledge would be at an advantage. They will be a real team player, work well under pressure, and have excellent attention to detail.
