As part of the Alpine long-term plan to compete for World Endurance Championship (WEC) we are looking to add to our talented team with individuals who are motivated to significantly contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence.

Within the Trackside Engineering Team we have a rare opportunity as a Senior Performance Engineer.

Performance Engineer - The Role

Reporting to the Head of Trackside Engineering, the Driver & Performance Engineer will manage all the activites related to the driving and the car performance. The role includes driving/driver analysis, car performance analysis, mainly chassis related, but also with a look on car system perfomance.

Performance Engineer - The Person

The successful candidate will hold an engineering or relevant degree. They will have a strong understanding of driving analysis, using several tools - reports to help our drivers, as well as vehicles dynamics & system knowledge for their car performance analysis.

In addition they will possess:

• A good knowledge of software used within Alpine Endurance Team, such as HHDM, HH Timing, MM Wintax & Sysma, MATLAB, Canopy is an advantage.

• 3 years of experience in this role

• Endurance (WEC/ELMS/Asian LMS/Formula 1/Formula E/…) trackside experience is highly recommanded.

• LMP style car well founded knowledge is a must.

• Fluent in English, French is a plus

They will be self-motivated, willing to work collaboratively with other individuals, as part of a group, and with other groups within the team.

They will be a role model to the department, working to the highest standards and in accordance with the company values.
