Due to our company expanding rapidly, we are now looking for an electrician to join our team. We are a small construction company based in Southend on Sea. The type of properties we work in are all insurance claims ranging from fire damaged, flood damaged, escape of water, impact damage, etc.
Some of our claims will require you to carry out a test and report, whereas most will involve a complete strip out and rewire of residential properties.
- Domestic consumer unit replacements
- Temporary board installation
- Installation of earth bonding
- Installation of RCDs/RCBOs
- Installation of surge protection
- Installation of smoke detection
- Installation of new circuits
- Testing
- Other minor electrical works
Requirements:
- Level Three Electrical Qualification
- Full clean driving licence
- 2391 Testing Certificate
- Minimum three years' experience working as an electrician
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiation and persuasion skills
- The ability to follow technical drawings, building plans and wiring diagrams
- A willingness to work in confined spaces
- A flexible approach
The successful candidate will be expected to be on site from 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday. Please note that you will be expected to travel to various areas, which may include being in London in the morning and then Bedfordshire in the afternoon.
Please be prepared to travel.
