Technical Skills:
- Analyzing the requirements, test design, data preparation, execution, and defect management.
- Creating and implementing test plan and test strategy documents outlining the scope, objective, timeline, and focus of software effort for functional and regression testing.
- Expert at analyzing system specifications, design, development, and execution of test plans and test cases for automated testing.
- Knowledge of test management and defect management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and QTest.
- Knowledge in SDLC, STLC, and Bug life cycle.
- Good experience with CI tool Jenkins and API tool Postman.
- Good at implementing best practices followed in software processes, empowered with industry-standard and team-leading experience with excellent commitment skills.
- Creating and tracking bugs in the system in the defect management tool JIRA and participating in the Defect Triage calls with Business and Development teams.
- Setting up Selenium test environments such as Selenium Web Driver, Maven integration, TestNG, Java, and Jenkins integration.
- Creating test cases with Selenium Web Driver commands and element locators and inspecting elements.
- Continuously adding and escalating test case scripts to develop robust test scripts.
- Once the test is executed, the suites highlight the bugs and faults. The tester must resolve the bugs and assign the new issues to the development team.
- Preparing test cases and scenarios and executing the results.
