Overview

Alphavet Veterinary Centre in Newport, Gwent is hiring an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a dedicated full‑time practice. The role is split across our Langstone and Risca branches, offering close collaboration with veterinary surgeons, nurses and reception staff.

Hours

Full‑time, 38.4 hours per week Monday‑Friday and five 4.5‑hour Saturday shifts per year.

Responsibilities

  • Perform surgery and support senior surgeons.
  • Run nurse clinics and inpatient wards.
  • Conduct laboratory tests and manage clinical records.

  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional veterinary care to all clients.

Qualifications

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse with relevant experience.
