We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Emergency Lighting Engineer to join our growing team in Birmingham. The role involves servicing, maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing fire alarm systems and emergency lighting across commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities- Service, maintain, and fault-find fire alarm systems (conventional & addressable)
- Carry out emergency lighting inspections, testing, and repairs
- Diagnose faults and complete remedial works efficiently
- Complete service reports and certification accurately
- Ensure all work complies with relevant British Standards (BS 5839 & BS 5266)
- Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts
- Work independently and manage your own workload
- Participate in on-call rota if required
- Essential: Proven experience servicing fire alarm systems
- Strong knowledge of BS 5839 & BS 5266
- Experience with emergency lighting systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot faults
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Desirable: FIA units or equivalent qualifications
- Experience with systems such as Gent, Notifier, Morley, Advanced, Kentec, etc.
- IPAF / ECS / CSCS
- Previous commercial or multi-site experience
- Salary up to £42,000 DOE
