The predicted salary is between 30000 - 32000 £ per year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of portable fire extinguishers and associated fire safety equipment. The role covers a local patch within approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour from the Wolverhampton office. This is a field-based position with excellent earning potential through commission on remedial works and equipment sales, with realistic on-target earnings £5,000 above base salary.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain portable fire extinguishers in line with BS 5306 standards
- Carry out installations and replacements of extinguishers and related fire safety equipment
- Identify remedial works and upsell additional fire safety products/services where appropriate
- Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fire Extinguisher Engineer
- Knowledge of BS 5306 standards
- Relevant FIA or equivalent industry qualifications (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
Package
- £30,000 – £32,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
