As a product designer at AlphaSights you’ll drive product-led technology innovation. You will join a rapidly scaling technology organization in a disruptive and fast growing industry, solving complex problems and shaping new experiences with product managers and engineers across development pods. We place huge emphasis on user-centric design, creating intuitive user experiences and turning complex needs into simple, easy to use technology interfaces facilitating the easiest path for our internal users to execute Client projects, providing them with the knowledge they require. Whatever aspect of the system you’re working on, you will need to understand our users, their use of our technology, and how we can improve the experience we offer them.
What you’ll do:
- Craft user experience through collaborative teamwork: Define the end-to-end user experience on various products, collaborating with our product managers, designers, and engineers to turn that vision into reality.
- User need identification and problem definition: Collection of user feedback to identify and prioritize the user needs and sources of value within your product area.
- UI / UX specification: Lead design projects through the product development lifecycle, creating sketches, wireframes, user journeys, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to test ideas, facilitate rapid iteration, and provide clear development specifications.
- Executive communication: Communicate and present your ideas to both technology and commercial stakeholders.
- Process refinement and culture: Champion user experience and advocate for design and user research best practice across the organization, helping to build our design culture and systems.
Who you are:
- Product Design experience – we’re looking for people with a minimum of 1 year of experience who have incredible potential and a demonstrated track record of delivering quality, meaningful experiences within a SaaS product.
- Highly driven and proactive – you relentlessly push through hurdles and drive practical innovation.
- Fascinated by Product Design – you are up-to-date with, and ideally driving forward, best UI/UX/Product Design practices in the industry.
- Excel using tech tools – you are highly skilled with systems like Figma, Whimsical, Jira, Notion, and enjoy using technology to continuously iterate.
- Intuitive and analytical thinker – you love tackling ambiguous design problems and have the grit to get to a desirable and viable solution.
- Organized executor – Have excellent organizational, time, and communication skills, with the ability to gain support for your ideas and engage with stakeholders across the company to gather feedback.
- Team player – Have experience working with multidisciplinary teams e.g., Engineers, PMs, Analysts.
