Role Overview
As the company scales, AlphaSights is building a dedicated FP&A function to enhance its finance operations and collaboration with business units. FP&A supports decision-making at senior levels, highlights financial issues and risks, and identifies opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, P&L and cash flow control, scenario analysis, risk management, project reporting, and investment appraisal.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage parts of the annual business plan, forecasts, and management reports
- Provide insights and analysis to support strategic goals
- Improve processes, systems, and analytical tools for forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis
- Develop KPIs and metrics aligned with business strategy
- Drive scenario modeling and planning, manage capex forecasts
- Support broader finance projects

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent in a numerical subject with strong academic credentials
- Excellent analytical skills and independent thinking
- Experience in building detailed models and forecasts in complex environments
- Accounting or management accounting qualification is a plus
- Ability to extract and combine data from multiple systems
- Stakeholder management skills across organizational levels
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn
- Team player with collaborative skills
- Knowledge of SQL is advantageous
Compensation & Benefits
- £36,000 per annum
