- Reports to: Director, Sales Program Management
- The Revenue Operations team at AlphaSense drives productivity and improves efficiency for our account executives, account managers and sales development reps
- We create and implement operational reporting & analytics, improve processes, and enable strategic initiatives that impact the revenue organization
- We are seeking a detail-oriented, strategic, and collaborative Deal Desk Analyst to support our sales teams in day to day execution of key deals
- This role will serve as a partner to Account Executives and Account Managers; working with them to build quotes, execute contracts, and review redlines. The ideal candidate has experience working in a deal desk role for a SAAS company
- Deal Structuring & Review
- Help maintain team SLAs for timely changes
- Assist sales teams in designing quotes and contracts, including product bundling, and multi-year "ramp" deals
- Serve as the primary gatekeeper for non-standard terms, ensuring all necessary stakeholders (legal, accounting, finance) sign off on exceptions
- Support policy and compliance by enforcing "guardrails" regarding discounting levels, revenue recognition standards, and legal liability
- Work with sales enablement to train sales representatives on how to use Salesforce CPQ and Ironclad
- Process Optimization: Identify "friction points" in the sales cycle and implement automation or workflow improvements to increase deal velocity

Qualifications
- Experience working with CRM (Salesforce), CPQ tools, and contract management systems (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign CLM)
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to pushback in challenging situations
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- 2+ years of experience in deal desk or contract management in a SaaS or technology environment
- Understanding of B2B commercial contracts and deal structures
