About the Team
The Directed Content Team is an integral part of the Expert Insights group, generating thousands of calls each quarter on high-value and strategic content targets - ensuring that the AlphaSense Expert Transcript Library (ETL) delivers comprehensive coverage to our users. The Directed Content team is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding the best possible experts from around the world based on the targets and topics we are looking to generate content against.
About the Role
As a Sector Lead on our Directed Content team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring AlphaSense delivers the highest-quality proprietary research content within your assigned sector. Reporting to the Director of Research you will oversee the day-to-day execution of Directed Content projects, ensuring all work meets the firm’s standards for quality, relevance, and end-user value delivery. Your responsibilities will span project setup, expert sourcing guidance, transcript quality assurance, budget oversight, and performance management.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the Director of Research to develop and maintain a strategic sector roadmap.
- Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers that oversee the execution of Directed Content projects.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers to align operational KPIs to coverage strategy and optimize execution.
- Own expert budget management for your sector, allocating resources effectively to maximize content ROI.
- Oversee a structured QA process for ensuring transcripts meet the highest standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Research and our Content Strategy Analyst to monitor engagement data.
- Establish and maintain feedback loops with call takers and project teams.
- Maintain deep familiarity with ongoing developments within the Healthcare, TMT or Energy & Industrial sectors.
Who You Are
- You have 5–7 years of experience in equity research, market intelligence, consulting, or a related analytical role within TMT.
- You bring deep domain expertise in Healthcare, TMT or Energy & Industrials.
- You have proven people management experience, successfully leading teams of project managers or analysts.
- You possess exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- You have a strong command of project economics, capable of managing budgets and tracking ROI.
- You are adept at working cross-functionally with various teams.
- You are intellectually curious, client-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
