Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Installer with daily tasks and equipment setup.
- Help install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, air handlers, and ventilation systems per code and specs.
- Support ductwork fabrication and installation for both new builds and retrofit projects.
- Aid in electrical wiring of HVAC systems and installation of thermostats.
- Handle tools, ladders, and equipment safely; help maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Participate in system start-up processes including airflow testing and refrigerant checks.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate courteously with customers when on site.
- Record and document materials used and hours worked accurately.
- Maintain tools and ensure vehicles are stocked and organized.
- Collaborate with fellow installers and other trades on-site to ensure job success.
- 3 years of experience preferred, but motivated entry-level candidates will be considered.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Universal EPA Certification preferred.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from lead installer and team members.
- Solid work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems or construction trades.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in varying job site conditions.
