Driver/Operators in Lutterworth

We are currently recruiting for reliable and committed Class 2 drivers to work out of our site near Lutterworth. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as full volumetric mixer operator training will be given and is also ongoing.

As part of a successful team, you will be responsible for:

• The safe, efficient delivery of concrete and screed 'mixed on site' products to various customer locations within a 25 mile radius.
• Completing daily vehicle checks concerning safety and keeping the truck in an acceptable condition.
• Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
• Complying with all relevant legislation in line with driver hours and working time directive requirements.
• Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately with attention to detail.

The applicant must have:

• A current Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence for 1 year with up to date CPC.
• Good timekeeping skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude to work.
• Enthusiasm and reliability.
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to maintain positive customer relationships.
• A good geographical knowledge of the local area.

• Competitive salary: £33,000 - £34,000 starting rate, DOE.
