The Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in the day-to-day administrative operations of AlphaGraphics as well as acting as a trusted advisor, selling the products and services of the company to our valued clients. Our company’s success depends on our ability to meet our client’s challenges head-on, then solve them quickly and professionally.

About the Company: AlphaGraphics is the leading provider of Print, Signs, Visual Marketing, Design Services, and Promotional Products for area businesses, as well as the duplication of Architectural Drawings and Plans for the construction industry. AlphaGraphics has been a staple in the Seacoast area community for over 20 years.

Position Summary: The Customer Service Representative is responsible for evaluating client product needs, presenting appropriate solutions, cross-selling the various services and products of the company, and daily administrative tasks. The position requires client relationship management, estimating, and client interaction. This is a fast-paced role; the ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a busy, active environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: Consult with the existing customer base, new prospective customers and walk-in customers to determine their print, marketing, and sign needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Product Estimation: Provide product estimates for clients after consultation, coordinate delivery/production of products with production or outside vendors as appropriate, manage client expectations, schedules, and prices as needed, prepare accurate invoices following established process guidelines.
  • Administrative: Update and manage customer account notes and information, manage customer invoicing, manage register/cash and payments, generate daily and monthly closeout reports, fulfill shipping orders via UPS and FedEx, maintain organization of customer files & digital/physical workspace.
  • Communication: As the customer’s advocate, communicate needs within the company to ensure excellent customer service and product quality, promptly advise supervisor of any potential client issues which might require assistance or attention.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate is a well-organized customer service professional with experience successfully selling in a business environment. Experience in print, marketing, promotional items, or signs is greatly preferred but not required. The candidate believes in providing top-notch customer service and is a self-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to handling client needs and daily challenges.

Additional Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in sales and/or customer service within a fast-paced environment
  • Team member with collaborative style who knows how to foster success in others
  • Capable of juggling multiple priorities and operating with a calm sense of urgency
  • Positive “can do” attitude (this is critical!)

Additional Skills and Abilities - Desired (Advantageous, but not required):

  • College degree
  • Familiarity with current print and copy technology (highly desirable)
  • Working knowledge of computer technology and a familiarity with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
  • Experience in business-to-business, retail, and/or manufacturing setting

Workplace Requirements:

  • Driver’s license and access to vehicle
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
