Company Description
Alpha Capital Group is dedicated to nurturing profitable traders by providing the tools, technology, and resources to manage risk and improve trade execution. Through in‑house built trading tools, educational content, market insights, and one‑to‑one mentoring, we support traders at every level — from early‑stage learners to funded proprietary traders.
Role Description
This is a full‑time, hybrid videographer and content producer role based in London, with regular travel to shoots across the UK and beyond. You'll be joining a fast‑growing trading and technology company operating across multiple brands — Alpha Capital, Alpha Futures, Alpha Pod, and My Alpha — and playing a central role in shaping how we show up on camera. This isn't a "point and shoot" role. We're looking for someone with genuine creative vision who can concept, direct, and produce content at a high level — think large‑scale brand productions, Sidemen‑style shoots, and cinematic long‑form content — but who's equally comfortable going handheld and scrappy when the moment calls for it. You'll also be documenting the real story behind the business: the growth, the culture, the behind‑the‑scenes. You'll work alongside our existing content team from day one, with a clear path to building and leading your own production unit as we scale.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conceptualising, directing, and producing short‑form and long‑form video content across all four brands
- Shooting high‑production brand content as well as agile, reactive behind‑the‑scenes footage
- Managing productions from pre‑production through to final edit — briefs, shot lists, talent, locations, post
- Collaborating with the marketing and content team on creative strategy and campaign planning
- Helping build and manage a wider production team over time
- Maintaining quality and consistency across all video output
- Staying ahead of platform trends across YouTube, Instagram, and emerging channels
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a videographer and producer — agency side or running your own production operation
- A strong creative eye with the ability to concept and direct, not just execute
- Comfortable working across both high‑production shoots and fast‑turnaround short‑form content
- Experience shooting and editing short‑form (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) and long‑form (YouTube, documentary‑style)
- Confident managing productions independently — logistics, crew, kit, timeline
- Some leadership experience or ambition to build and manage a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Based in or able to commute to London, with flexibility for regular shoot travel
Kit
We can provide equipment, but we'd expect a serious candidate to have their own kit. Please tell us what you shoot on as part of your application.
Salary
£30,000 – £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience and creative output
How To Apply
Before you apply, we want you to do one thing: go and look at our Instagram and YouTube channels. Study what we're putting out. Then come back and tell us how you'd do it better. We're not looking for someone to maintain the status quo — we're looking for someone who sees what we're building and knows exactly how to take it further.
Please include with your application:
- Your portfolio and showreel — video links, not attachments
- Examples of both short‑form and long‑form work
- The kit you shoot on
- A short note on what you'd change or improve about our current content after reviewing our channels
- Your background — agency, freelance, or both
If you can't tell us how to improve what we're doing, this probably isn't the right role for you.
