The Company
We are a well-established, award-winning company, based in Warrington, offering DNA, drugs and alcohol and healthcare testing services to the legal community, members of the public and companies across the UK and internationally. We are looking for a Sample Collector who is phlebotomy trained to join our team.
The Role
Location: We are looking for someone based in the Norwich or Cambridge area.
Role Responsibilities Include:
- Reporting to the Sample Collections Manager
- Collect Biological Samples from sample donors as required in accordance with current procedures and guidelines
- Be contactable by phone at all times during working hours
- Respond to email communications promptly to ensure you are up to date with procedural changes
- Samples must be sent to the relevant laboratory, as per instruction, with all relevant emails and documentation daily
- Manage own stock to maintain sufficient quantity at all times and that it is within its expiry date
- Work closely with the Collections Department Head Office staff to ensure that the department meets the demands of the business
- Participate and contribute to all training and meeting requirements relevant to your role
- Carry out Safety Critical Medicals as required (* if trained to do so)
Person Specification
- Must have own reliable transport maintained in a roadworthy manner with current MOT and insurance including for business use.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and provide a copy of driving record when requested.
