Nursery Nurse Level 3

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Duties

• Provide exceptional care for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Maintain accurate records of children\’s progress and development, communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
• Support children in their daily routines, including feeding, changing, and personal hygiene.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating nursery environment that promotes exploration and creativity.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development and stay updated on best practices in childcare.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
• A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for children.
• Driving licence preferred to facilitate travel between locations if required.
