The Role

The Head of Private Banking will play a vital role in building ABL’s Private Banking portfolio and driving service excellence for our existing clients. A key focus of the role is to develop new client opportunities and manage the established team of relationship managers to grow and service our Private Banking customer base. This is a non-advisory role; key success factors include growth of customer deposits and Assets under Management (AUMs), customer satisfaction scores, flawless regulatory compliance execution, and Alpha Bank Group value creation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the delivery of the Private Banking team’s deposit and AUM growth targets, ensuring strong and sustainable commercial performance.
  • Ensure the team consistently provides a first‑class professional service to Private Banking clients, meeting their financial needs wherever possible.
  • Oversee the development and use of effective MI tools to objectively measure qualitative and quantitative team performance.
  • Work closely with the CBO to develop and implement the annual Private Banking strategy, including new business growth and customer retention plans.
  • Enhance the use and effectiveness of the Salesforce CRM platform, driving improved customer and commercial outcomes.
  • Maintain strong awareness of market developments to ensure the team remains competitive and well‑informed.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Private Banking team to enhance productivity, strengthen skills, and build capability in new business development and relationship management with high‑net‑worth clients.
  • Represent the Private Banking function as a member or attendee of key bank committees and forums.
  • Maintain a robust risk, legal, and compliance framework to identify and manage the team’s exposure effectively.

What We’re Looking For

A fluent Greek and English speaker. Proven track record in Private Banking, with experience in building and developing a customer portfolio. Leadership, Communication and Interpersonal skills, People Management, Teamwork, Developing People, Customer Orientation, Strategy and Business Planning, Co‑ordination, Technical/Professional Knowledge, Sales & Marketing and Product Knowledge.
