Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Wildlife Technician role based in Charleston, SC. Responsibilities include identifying and safely removing wildlife from properties, implementing preventative measures to eliminate entry points, and ensuring humane relocation of animals to appropriate locations. The Wildlife Technician will also communicate directly with clients, provide assessments, and maintain proper records of activities while upholding Alpha Wildlife’s high standards of service and safety.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Wildlife Management, Trapping, and handling related tasks
- Knowledge of Fisheries and Wildlife behavior
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and handle physical activities
- Familiarity with local wildlife regulations and best practices
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in environmental science or related field is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
