Corpay is currently looking to hire a Portfolio Manager (French speaking) within our cross‐border payments division. This position falls under our Alpha Group line of business and is located in Paddington, London. In this role, you'll build and grow your own portfolio of high‐value private market clients, combining new business development with account management.
What you'll be doing
- Engage directly with C‐suite decision makers at mid‐to‐large businesses, helping them manage their FX and cross‐border payment needs.
- Work in an office environment supported with an assigned workspace, company‐issued equipment, and formal, hands‐on training.
- Research and qualify potential clients to build a database of leads.
- Own the telephone; use it to engage and consult with C‐level executives of medium‐large businesses across diverse sectors. Cold calling will be your primary method of engagement.
- Learn clients' businesses and work to explore and uncover key problems and challenges, while educating them on how Alpha's solutions can solve them.
- Work closely with analysts and strategists to build and present valuable risk‐management solutions to clients, and in time learn how to develop these solutions yourself.
- Develop trusted relationships with your existing portfolio of clients to retain their business and grow your portfolio.
- Over time, be capable of dealing independently for your portfolio of clients on the largest traded market in the world.
