We are seeking experienced, qualified SIA Principal Trainers and SIA Training Instructors to join our professional training team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging SIA licence-linked training sessions, full courses and refreshers. This position offers a great opportunity to utilise your teaching expertise and technical skills within a collaborative environment. The role requires strong communication abilities, proficiency with various digital tools, and a passion for fostering learning and growth.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid SIA licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Minimum 5 years’ checkable frontline security experience
  • No criminal convictions
  • Level 3 PTLLS, DTLLS, or AET
  • Level 3 Conflict Management
  • Level 3 Physical Intervention Qualification & PI licence
  • Proven experience in teaching or training roles, preferably within corporate or organisational settings
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences effectively

Desirable (advantageous) Qualifications:

  • Level 3 First Aid at Work (3-day course)
  • Existing approval with an awarding organisation to deliver SIA qualifications
  • Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification (Listed below):
    • Unit - Understanding the Principles and Practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment
    • Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices
    • Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Process and Practices
    • Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices
    • V1 Conduct Internal Quality Assurance of the Assessment Process
    • D34 Internally Verify the Assessment Process

Duties:

  • Deliver DS and Security Guarding programmes – full & refresher
  • Facilitate engaging classroom or virtual sessions, ensuring clarity and learner engagement through effective presentation skills
  • Mentor and support learners, providing constructive feedback and guidance to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Develop and update training materials, ensuring content remains current and relevant
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback collection
  • Complete mandatory paperwork to contract compliance and quality standards
