Our clients at Wandsworth, Southwest London area, are looking for Full time or Part time or Freelance experienced OFSTED Registered Manager for Supported Living Services for young people aged 16 to 18.

The Registered Manager will be responsible for the management and regulatory compliance of the supported accommodation services for young people aged 16 to 18. The Registered Manager will ensure full compliance with the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 and deliver safe, high-quality, outcome-focused support that promotes independence and positive transitions into adulthood.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain Ofsted registration and ensure compliance across all services.
  • Lead and prepare for Ofsted inspections and implement required improvements.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, service quality, and safeguarding practice.
  • Provide leadership and line management to Service Managers and staff teams.
  • Ensure safeguarding concerns and serious incidents are managed and reported appropriately.
  • Monitor quality assurance, audits, risk assessments, and support plans.
  • Promote young people’s voice, rights, and participation in care planning.
  • Build effective multi-agency partnerships with local authorities and professionals.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Essential
  • Minimum three years’ experience in supported accommodation or regulated settings for young people aged 16 to 18.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent, or willingness to complete.
  • Experience managing multi-site services and leading inspections.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and leadership skills.
  • Enhanced DBS and full UK driving licence.
  • Desirable
  • Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager.
  • Experience supporting service development or transitions to regulated provision.
