We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Service Development Coordinator to join our client's People & Development team on a short-term contract. This role has been created to support a period of rapid growth and delivery across several new and emerging service initiatives. You’ll play a key role as the “engine room” behind our service delivery — ensuring coordination, information flow, and administrative processes run smoothly so our teams can stay focused on outcomes.
About the Role
This is a hands‑on coordination role, not project management. You’ll work across multiple teams and initiatives, providing essential structure, tracking, and follow‑through to keep things moving efficiently. You’ll also help bridge a gap in development administration and provide overflow support where needed (e.g. Assessment Centre coordination).
Key Responsibilities
- Service Coordination
- Manage referrals and support eligibility processes
- Track cases and maintain clear visibility across service activity
- Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date records
- Schedule hui/meetings and coordinate logistics
- Track actions and follow up to ensure progress
- Maintain documentation and support information flow across teams
- Support Growth Committee coordination and administration
- Track milestones and maintain pipeline visibility
- Assist with basic reporting and progress updates
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a senior administrator or coordinator
- Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
- Strong capability with Excel/spreadsheets and data tracking
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Proactive, responsive, and comfortable following up to keep things moving
- Confidence working across teams and with external stakeholders
Nice to have: Experience in health, disability, education, or social services
Why This Role Matters
This position plays a critical role in enabling our service teams to operate effectively during a high-growth phase. By bringing consistency, coordination, and visibility, you’ll directly support better outcomes across our service initiatives.
