Our client is a fast growing health and social services organisation providing their services across Aotearoa. This role is based in the Mangere clinic in a fast paced community focused environment.
They are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their busy clinic. This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside a supportive and collaborative team of GPs, Health Care Assistants, and Administrators. You'll be supported in your professional growth by experienced Nurse Leads and our Directors of Nursing, with opportunities to further develop both your clinical and leadership capabilities. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working closely with people, values teamwork, and is passionate about making a positive impact in the community. The hours for this position will include rostered shifts between 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within a primary care setting
- Build strong, respectful relationships with patients and their whānau
- Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and administrative team
- Support health promotion and preventative care initiatives
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold best practice standards
- Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment
About you
- Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and relevant indemnity insurance
- Experience in primary and/or secondary care nursing
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse communities and whānau
- Current CPR certificate (preferred)
- Immunisation and smear taker certification (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to speak te reo Māori or another language is an advantage
