ABOUT THE ROLE:
At the crossroads of Digital, Analog and Power electronics, our fast-growing, multidisciplinary team pushes the boundary of technology in the field of power-management systems. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Engineer to join our team in the UK. Your work will directly influence IC design decisions and help improve first‑time silicon success. This role is designed to grow with you, combining structured guidance with increasing technical ownership. With training and mentorship from experienced engineers, you will:
- Help create efficient, simulation‑ready models of IC packages and PCBs that team members use during IC development
- Participate in laboratory validation, comparing simulation results with real hardware measurements
- Build system-level testbenches and models to support comprehensive simulations of complex power systems
- Work on improving model accuracy/speed tradeoff for several applications
- Collaborate closely with IC design, applications and package engineers to drive the adoption of system modelling techniques
This role is ideal for graduates who enjoyed electromagnetics, power electronics, or system‑level simulation projects during their studies and want to apply them to real products.
EDUCATION:
MEng degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field. An ideal candidate will demonstrate or be developing:
- Strong academic foundations in Circuit theory and Control systems
- A genuine interest in power electronics, modeling, and simulation
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills
- Good communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a collaborative team
QUALIFICATIONS (must have 2 out of 4):
- Exposure to modelling language such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, Spice or scripting
- Exposure to EM simulation tools like Ansys Q3D
- Experience with Cadence tools
- Understanding of switching voltage regulators
