Freelance Quantity Surveyor - HS2 We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a major package delivery on HS2 This is a predominantly site-based role suited to a commercially strong QS with solid NEC experience and a background in civil engineering/infrastructure, possibly having worked on HS2 previously. The role will focus on: Change management and cost capture Issuing contractual notices Identifying and protecting commercial entitlement Recording and notifying programme impacts Managing commercial risk and project costs Working closely with site and project teams The ideal candidate will have: Strong civils/infrastructure QS experience Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts, ideally NEC4 Experience with Defined Cost / Option E Strong understanding of change and contractual notifications A proactive, commercially astute approach The project has significant commercial activity, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS to make a real impact.
