We are recruiting experienced Home Care Assistants to provide support to service users in their own homes. The role involves delivering personal care, supporting daily routines, and helping individuals remain independent in the community. This is a community-based role and involves travelling between service users.
Duties Include:
- Personal care – washing, dressing, bathing and toileting
- Supporting with mobility and use of equipment
- Medication prompting and administration
- Meal preparation and support with eating and drinking
- Light household duties
- Following care plans and respecting service users’ choices
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in health or well-being
- Completing care records after each visit
Requirements:
- Previous experience in home care
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends
