Life, Pensions and Retail Investments (LPRI) team

Founded in 2019 our Life, Pensions and Retail Investments (LPRI) team, has had a singular goal to be the best P&RI consulting function globally. Our team works with industry leading investment platforms, adviser networks, Life and Pensions companies and technology providers to position their businesses for lasting success.

P&RI Consultant – What’s the opportunity?

  • Work, both alongside a team and independently, on client projects, supporting project design through to delivery
  • Support the creation of high-quality work products within expected timeframes
  • Own key items for project delivery – including possible ownership of deliverables or workstreams within a project
  • Actively participate in the preparation of materials for and delivery of project and client meetings
  • Identify and internally discuss ideas for further business opportunities
  • Track and monitor project plans and milestones, as well as key project issues, risks, actions, and dependencies, and escalates where appropriate
  • Manage competing demands and priorities, from both internal and external stakeholders, to the satisfaction of all parties
  • Understand Alpha and its services and actively assess ways to serve clients
  • Stay abreast of LPRI trends relevant to the client\’s business
  • Make a contribution to business development, support with the development of one or two internal business management areas (e.g. contributions to thought leadership, recruitment or Alpha proposition development)

Who are we looking for?

  • Circa 3 years’ experience within financial services consulting is a must, ideally within the Life, Pensions and Retail Investments industry
  • Experience of working on significant change projects with Blue Chip organisations covering such things as Target Operating Models, business processes and/or IT solutions within areas such as: Distribution, CRM, regulatory compliance/risk, data models & migrations, outsourcing, cost optimisation etc
  • Strong academic background (minimum 2:1 degree) or qualified through experience in the industry
