Who we are

Alpha Financial Markets Consulting (Alpha) is the leading consultancy to the asset and wealth management industry. Over the past 20 years, we have grown to become a team of 1,500 industry experts working across all of the major financial centres globally, partnering with 80 of the top 100 managers by AUM, and all of the top 20. We are proud that many of our team have established long and fulfilling careers with us, with many having stayed for well over a decade, playing central roles in building the business that we are today. We hope that you will join us to shape the next chapter of our growth story.

The opportunity:

Alpha’s Client & Digital practice partners with leading managers to address their most strategic priorities. These typically relate to client experience, growth, scalability and M&A. Given our unique combination of global scale and industry focus, we are able to provide clients with deep insight and trusted delivery, often leveraging proprietary IP and accelerators. Over the past 12 months, Alpha’s Client & Digital practice has experienced significant growth. We are therefore seeking to selectively bolster our team with individuals who share our passion for using technology to address our industry’s most important challenges.

What you’ll do:

  • Solve real business problems. Partner directly with client stakeholders across Marketing, Sales and Service to understand what's broken – then design and deliver the Salesforce-centric architecture that fixes it.
  • Own solution design end-to-end. Lead the architecture of Sales, Marketing & Service solutions that extend across and beyond the core Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Translate strategy into shipped technology. Turn business need into architectures and implementation plans that delivery teams can build.
  • Take on the most complex development. Operate as Lead Developer on implementations, personally tackling the most complex elements.
  • Create designs that outlast the engagement. Contribute to the accelerators, reusable assets and best practices that define how Alpha's Client & Digital practice delivers value into the future – your fingerprints stay on the practice.
  • Shape the next generation. Mentor and coach consultants and architects coming up behind you, working alongside some of the most experienced people in the field.
  • Stay at the front of the curve. Get hands-on with the platforms clients are betting their futures on – AgentForce, Data 360, CRM Analytics – before most of the market has caught up.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of consulting experience in Salesforce architecture, solution design and implementation – ideally within Financial Services.
  • Hands-on expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), with real fluency across the wider Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Up-to-date Salesforce development skills: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Salesforce APIs, Flow Builder.
  • Integration know-how: APIs, ELT/ETL, and iPaaS such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, ADF.
  • CI/CD experience designing and implementing SDLC pipelines with Salesforce-specific tools eg Copado, Gearset and generic platforms eg Azure DevOps, Github/Jenkins.
  • Range: you've led as both hands-on architect/developer and as a development team lead – you can go deep or go wide depending on what the engagement needs.
  • Communication that lands – with clients, with delivery teams, and with your own team.
  • A track record of building teams, not just projects.

Nice to have (not deal-breakers):

  • Experience in Asset or Wealth Management specifically.
  • Pre-sales exposure.
  • You've built or extended technical accelerators before, not just used them.
  • Curiosity beyond Salesforce — Sales, Marketing and Service platforms in the broader ecosystem.

People who thrive here:

You're someone who wants to understand why a problem matters before you design the solution. You're ambitious about your own growth, but you'd rather build something well with a strong team than build it alone. You're comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving environments, and you hold your own work to a high bar because you take quality personally. You want a platform where good ideas move fast — because you'll help create them.
