Role & Requirements
We are investing into a Senior People Business Partner aligned to our business unit for UK/MENA/APAC, Asset and Wealth Management Consulting (âAWM UK/MENA/APACâ). The Senior People Business Partner (AWM UK/MENA/APAC) role is a strategic dual role, embedded into both the business unit (AWM UK/MENA/APAC) and the Business Operations function (People function) to ensure alignment with AWM UK/MENA/APACâs strategic goals, while also maintaining strong ties with Business Operations to uphold functional standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leadership Engagement: Engage directly with senior leaders as a trusted business partner. Have a âseat at the tableâ to facilitate the business vision and to define the people agenda behind that.
- Strategic Talent Management Oversight & Advisory: Provide strategic oversight of talent management initiatives, including talent planning, succession, leadership development, and capability building, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term workforce strategy.
- Strategic Project Management: Lead or oversee key initiatives based on the Business Unitâs People strategy and priorities covering: Strategic Workforce & Talent Planning, Performance, Reward & Retention Strategy, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development & Succession Planning, Capability Development & Learning, Organisational Design & Growth Enablement.
- Key Processes Management: Drive and oversee annual businessâasâusual (BAU) processes: Talent Acquisition, HR.
- People Delivery Team Mobilisation and Optimisation: Mobilise the internal people delivery teams (Recruitment and HR) who are responsible for execution.
- Senior Leadership Reporting: Prepare people reports for senior leadership.
- People Communications: Designing and executing effective people communications as they relate to organisational change, compensation, and new policies.
- Mentoring & Oversight: Oversight and mentoring of some of the AWM APAC People Business Partner and as required other People Business Partners in the AWM division.
Qualifications
Must have:
- 10+ yearsâ HR or recruitment experience, with 3â5 years in a strategic crossâpeople business partnering or relationship management role.
- Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders on people strategy and organisational design.
- Strong experience in talent attraction and management, succession planning, and leadership development.
- A university degree (2:1 or above) in a relevant discipline.
- Excellent communication, analytical, teamâwork and stakeholder management skills.
Good to have:
- Experience within a consulting firm â ideally within Financial Services or Asset and Wealth Management Consulting.
- Exposure to global or matrixed organisations with complex stakeholder environments.
Location and working pattern
Officeâbased in the same location as the Business Head, in London. For this role it is important that this individual is coâlocated with the business and is able to attend key meetings in person.
