We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Jewellery Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for jewellery and accessories design, a keen eye for trends, and the ability to translate conceptual ideas into unique and stylish pieces. As a Fashion Jewellery and accessories Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative jewellery and accessories collections.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop fashion-forward collections and related products that align with clients' brand aesthetics and target market preferences.
- Research current fast fashion trends, materials, and techniques to inspire and inform design concepts.
- Work closely with clients to understand their demands and needs.
- Create sketches, renderings, and technical drawings of designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to prototype and refine jewellery and accessories design, providing support on product features and advantages, and addressing technical issues.
- Select appropriate materials, gemstones, and embellishments for each design.
- Oversee the sampling and production process to ensure the quality and integrity of finished pieces.
- Stay updated on industry developments, market trends, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Jewellery Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Jewelry Designer, with a portfolio showcasing original jewellery designs.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of jewellery construction techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent artistic and creative abilities, with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Passion for fast fashion, jewellery, and staying abreast of industry trends.
- Previous experience working in high street fashion is desirable.
